Official Melbourne Cruise to Archies Creek (Saturday 22nd Jan 10:30am)
This is finally the opportunity to meet many fellow BMW enthusiasts from the 1Addict, e90post and M3 Post forums in Melbourne!
I'm temporarily taken over the reigns from OREY for the first meet but these meets are definitely a great way to meet others who share a same passion for the brands and more importantly the cars! As per usual, it is important to just quickly state that we are there to admire and respect both the cars and their owners. Also please stay safe and within the boundaries of the law (going outside is at your own risk!) Details (this is very similar to a cruise BMW CCV just did) Saturday Cruise to Archies Creek, South Gippsland Saturday 22nd January 2011 All 1addicts, e90post and m3post Members, Family and Friends are invited to join us on a run to Archies on the Creek 81 Archies Creek Road, Archies Creek 3995 for lunch starting at 12:30 - 1:00pm. Lunch at own cost. http://www.archiesonthecreek.com.au/ Meet at BMW Group Australia, 783 Springvale Rd, Mulgrave at 10am for a 10:30am departure Please advise attendance by adding your name to this thread by the 17th of Jan at the latest so that reservations can be made. Note: Things you may want for the day - Full tank of petrol - Ensure your tyre pressures are good - Fluids in the car are topped up - Sunglasses - Car is clean - Camera - It is planned that we will make 1 - 2 stops along the way for breaks and photos - Manners - Cash Attached below is the flyer and map (although you can use GPS ) Look forward to seeing you all there!

Long time lerker on the forum so Hi to everyone for first post
I would love to join you guys but two things stopping me: No M3 (looking to purchase mid to late this year) Wife's birthday (not a good move when looking to buy mid to late this year!) Once I am in an M3 I will defintely be an active member. Currently an active member with MX5 club and forum with highly modified turbo MX5 SP. looking forward to joining the fold Rob |

At this stage around about 5 confirmed and 6 maybes....
This is harder than I thought since we done have the support like the sydney guys! A little disappointing really but at least even if a few turn up and we have a good time and take a few nice pictures, I'm hoping it will encourage others to join future meets

Besides I'd love the chance to sit in the turbocharged MX5, I test drove a stock MX-5 SP a while ago and loved it!

Sorry I can't make it to this one but would be interested in future events.
Thanks for the efforts to organise it, hopefully the response doesn't put you off, I think it's just a difficult time of year with lots of people still away. |
