Fuel Injection & Induction System Cleaning...worth it?

Sometimes I get a rough idle when starting up my 335i, my car has about 60,000 on it right now...

I'm going in to get my regular service & My dealership has a special offer for
Fuel Injection & Induction System Cleaning - $160

here is a quote from the site

"Normally $189.95. Deposits form at the tip of your injector, sometimes causing hesitation, rough idle and lost power. This service restores your BMW to peak performance & fuel efficiency "

will it really help with rough idle? is it worth it? what do you think?

I would say it's worth it, but you have to make sure your injectors are in top shape. If the "intake cleaning" includes cleaning the intake valves from carbon buildup, it is totally worth it.

This car is known to have a bad idle.

However, a lot of it is contributed to Spark plugs, coil packs, injectors or fuel pumps that are on their way out.

You should look into your previous services and see when and if those have been replaced.

If they havnt, its likely any one or all of them need replacing LOL.

+1 intake valve cleaning.

OEM O2 sensors are like $200. If you want to save some money, get generic BOSCH LSU 4.9 sensors on Ebay for $50 and have your shop extend the cable to the correct length. Voilà
