E90 335's in Toronto
Maybe its just me but I am on the road 5 days a week for my job all over the GTA and have seen no more than 3 335 sedans. And I'm always looking, are they not selling or are they not available?
Just curious, |

I've only seen two 335i sedans that weren't yours. I've seen a bunch of coupes. It's hard to say though; it could just be I have my eyes open for the coupe.

Nope. Saw a Black Sapphire the other night and a Jet Black a couple weeks ago. No other ones I've noticed. Kind funny we haven't seen eachother, being in the same hood and all.

I spend 2 hours on the roads everyday. Since last October, I only saw 5 in Oakville, Yonge/Sheppard area, Orillia, 401, DVP. All black except the one on the DVP, it was Monace blue.

In down town it's either 330 sedans or 335 coupes. My guess is people that can afford 335 will go for the coupe, being it a second or a third car. I would do the same.

I'd have to agree, the vast majority of them being 325's.

And I disagree that people who can afford a 335 will go for the coupe. Your reasoning is flawed. I opted for the sedan becuase at this stage in my life, its more practical than a coupe. |

Saw a TiAg Coupe spun out on the side of the road on Brock Rd yesterday during the snow. Seems like the driver was ill informed about winter driving and did not understand how traction control works. All I saw was one rear wheel, with summer performance tire on, spinning slowly in snow and the car was going nowhere.

Lol,
You are saying your-self you seen no 335 sedans... neither did I or any-thing else in this thread for this matter. So I guess there is some-thing in my reasoning after all. All I am saying is 335 in either version is not a point A to B car. Between sedan and coupe, second will always have more fun factor. I have one car and I have a 16 month old. When I drive with a child in a back seat I keep the driving exitment to minimum and concentrate 100% on safety. If I had a second car I would be able to separate between both, therefore I would get the coupe without thinking. My belief majority of enthuasists agree with me. As you said your-self "more practical" and "this stage in my life". BMW were never a practical choise, sedan owners trying to have from both worlds as much as it's possible. I think we both agree about that. Quote:

I definitely won't have less fun in my sedan, but it still won't change the fact that general perception is coupes are more fun.
You dont see 4 door version of porsche boxster or ferrari... lol I did not mean that sedans are less fun though, the perceprion is. The looks are obviously personal taste. My own opinion, which of course you don't have to agree with. If I didn't have to be practical I would get the coupe. |
