anyone have mods on a 2011???
injen, and magnaflow both are not sure if the intake and exhaust will fit a 2011.... i want to buy both of these parts TODAY, but i am not looking to throw $1000 down the drain. Does anybody have either of these parts on a 2011 128i?!?!?

AFAIK, there are no changes between a 2010 and 2011 128i...

are there changes between the original 128i in 2008 and the one now? because most of the auctions on ebay confirm parts will fit an 08 and 09... but show nothing about 10 and 11

Pretty sure any vendor you order from will be able to verify this for you. When I got my Performance Exhaust for my 09 128 from United BMW there was just one unit shown for all years.

ive been looking on ebay at the magnaflow exaust and the injen intake. All auctions say 08-2010... whenever i email the vendor they say it will not fit, that goes for both the intake and the exhaust. The performance exhaust is just a rear section, the magnaflow is a cat back and magnaflow said that the inlets or hanger position may have changed.

I Started looking yesterday, but got distracted.. end of month very busy for me..
go into realoem.com... spec out 08 car ( pick correct engine n52 / n51 ) etc and then go thru the years and check the part number for the midpipe... if its the same then you are good to go.. the rear exh is ok as the hangers are the same back there.. i recommend picking early and late months in the years to make sure you catch all build dates etc .. good luck..

i dont know what could have changed. I have injen intake on 09. Maybe they are coming out with an updated intake? If not, why dont u just go through their installation guide and follow it, and see if all the steps are the same?

I put the BMW Performance Exhaust on the day we took delivery of our 128i M-Sport. Sounds great, and wasn't all that hard to install. Can't speak to the other parts, but other than wheels and gloss-black grilles (and maybe a drop-in filter), we'll probably leave the rest alone as it's leased.

I have the BMW Performance intake and exhaust. Both parts are very nicely made, fit well the sound is fantastic. Actual performance is probably only slightly better than stock, bit definitely worthwhile.

i actually got the injen intake installed today... so we can confirm that that does fit on a 2011...
tomorrow i will get the magnaflow exhaust installed and that has already been confirmed that it will fit a 2011... performance with the intake and powerbox is much better than stock. Im glad i didnt go with bmw performance, though if the prices were less i would have. |
