HID malfunction? Lowbeam off..help please
Yesterday I installed some 6000k HID D1S bulbs onto my 07 e92. After successfully installing them, and seeing both lowbeam bulbs nice and bright, I took the car out for a drive. Right when backing out the left bulb was noticeably flickering. Shortly after that I decided to pull over and see what was happening. I restarted the engine, and yes, the left lowbeam decided to die on me. So, I thought it was just a dead bulb, but I did the process all over and replaced the bulb wtih the OEM bulb, and the left lowbeam was still out. Throughout all of this, the right side was working fine. Do you guys have any opinions or advice on this topic? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Long story short: - installed HIDs - both worked for a period of 5 mins, before the left one went out - replaced HID w/ OEM bulb, still nothing. - right side works fine, left side is off regardless of what bulb |

Thanks for the reply
I've read on other threads and they say that the headlight connector is out? The situations all sound similar, but I'm not sure if it is a loose connection or a broken headlight connector, or a broken ballast.... Any other opinions? |
