I have a Fenix P1D in my glovebox (and replaced the BMW flashlight with the extra outlet accessory), it's a real flashlight, not that BMW crap!

Nice. Those were sold out at the CT I went to at Lawrence and Allen Road. I wanted the mini anyway for the form factor - I'm surprised you were able to fit that. I think I was lucky to get one mini only because the display hadn't been marked down yet (while the other maglites were). There was one mini left since yesterday.

I actually had this for about 5 yrs now I have the 2D and 3D, I used to have them in my RSX esp if I go camping or road trips. Now I only car the 2D, with my RSX I placed it on the door "pocket" but with the e92 it doesnt fit there. Luckily it fit in the glove box.

Oh and I did a LED conversion to both of them. Damn those are bright!

Not sure locally, probably a camping shop, I've seen Surefire lights at Bass Pro, but I bought it online at 4sevens.

i use the led on my iphone 4

.. all honesty, I don't know why bmw doesn't include these things anymore. The 2011s don't even come with a compass in the rear view mirror.
