a few pics of Eibach Pro Kit (with 19" Axis Penta wheels)
Here are a few pics of my car lowered on Eibach Pro Kit springs. Sorry for the poor pic quality, they were taken with a cellphone camera.

Wow, now THAT is the perfect drop! Glad you didnt drop it so low that it looks like an impala. Rubbing issues at all?

I don't have any rubbing issues. There is about a one finger gap in the front and back.

I don't have the high beams on, it might just be a reflection or the lighting in the garage. The angel eyes were on and with those, I switched out the stock bulbs with Hoen Xenon match bulbs. They look more blue in the picture than in person. Definitely an improvement over stock.

Not too hard to put in, its just a tight fit. There is a post on how to do it yourself.

I had an "interesting" experience with the Eibach springs i put on my E92 coupe a week ago.. It turns out that if you have the sports package the drop in the rear is almost nothing and the front is relatively small... (maybe about .5") I got all annoyed at the fact that i spent $600 for the springs and the job and all for just a small drop and i called Eibach. Their tech support told me that the drop numbers advertised on the their website are for STOCK suspension only and the drop i should expect with the sports package is as described above.
So i went and bought the H&R Race and the drop is PERFECT... I got them installed 2 days ago so i dont have any pics yet. The PROBLEM is that the ride is too bouncy and the shocks are gonna go soon so I'm shopping around for a set of coilovers so i can get it done right... I did like the Eibachs bc the drop made the front and rear space uniform and the ride was great but it just didnt lower the car enough in my opinion... I do like the look of the car in the pics, however. :-) |
