Arrow 335i Brakes (Rotors / Pads)

Idrive has notified me it's time for new pads. My understanding is to do rotors/pads with these cars.

Indys are looking to charge me in the ~800 range and the dealer wants $1000 as part of a package (which they claim has some discount built in)

Where do you guys go for rotors/pads and how much did you spend?

Do em yourself, brakes are really simple. And it will save you a bundle. I recently did new pads/rotors in the front for a grand total of 300.

Just got the car back today. Replaced back rotors and brakes (all OEM parts), cost me $395 + tax ($446.77). went to Bimmex in Markham (on Woodbine Ave). Used them a few times now and very impressed with their service and prices seem good. They only work on BMW's. 905-415-2269 (ask for Dave).

not bad, almost 15% cheaper than what BMW dealers charge for rear brake service.

did you replace sensors too?

Mike has not been available for some reason? I've called him for a couple days, left vmails with no luck.

I've got two other places to call tomorrow. Hopefully Bimmex can beat the quotes and I can just go there. I prefer to stick OEM (the dust sucks, but the performance is impressive).

not sure about the sensors, not showing any codes and idrive now shows 60,000km left on rear brake pads.

If you speak to Dave, tell him the guy with the Black 335i E93 that was there on Wednesday for rear brakes referred you. It may help you if he needs to match pricing with another place...
