Got my OSS lights put in by Alex and Eric @ Helix Motorsports. A+ guys!
Alex and Eric were courteous and friendly, with a waiting room with wifi, a TV, and a nice comfy couch
They dropped my bumper, put my OSS lights in, and put everything back as if BMW themselves did the work. I could not get a great shot of them, but any of you that couldn't or didn't get in on the group buy, it is really a shame, because my jaw hit the floor....HARD...when I saw these installed They complete the look of my car, and really make it pop. As has been said many times before, you HAVE to see them in person, then, you're sold, plain and simple. I have ZERO regrets and SO MUCH PRAISE for these lights. Swapping out my D1S bulbs from 4300k to 6700k was also a MAJOR, INSTRUMENTAL upgrade. The light is so clean and pure white that other cars I pass appear to have yellow headlights I am not so sure I like the 4350k H3 and H8s, they look too yellow Maybe for the corners it is ok, but these fogs gotta go... I think I am going to try for 6700 all around, if it's available. We'll see... Anyway, MAD PROPS to Alex and Eric @ Helix for making this happen for me. I couldn't be happier with Helix Motorsports, or my lights |

V2 and OSS should be the same. OSS is the name of the company and "Orion V2" is brand.

The V2s are better cosmetically. The old versions had a hideous VERY noticeable black bar over the top of the outer light. The V2s are NOTICEABLY more flowing cosmetically if you compare side by side. To be honest, the break is even on the stock outer rings. Sucks, but that's just BMW engineering

The beading is something that people who get OSS like. There are companies out there that have implemented more LEDs into the rings but they start getting that flushed out look. There are very distinguished and the upgrade from Version 1 OSS lights to Version 2 is in the Outer larger ring. There used to be a Bar across the top of them that was kind of noticeable. These dont have a "bar" anymore. The top of the rings are rounded now and are blacked out. The actual leds arent changed.
