Continental RFT for 2006 330i

After 25000 miles, my OEM tires are almost worn out and making horrible noises..

I got quotes for Turanza ($1282) and Continental ($903) + alignment (~$150) at the BMW service center.

What you guys think about this deal? Should I even go for non-RFT?
The SA offered $1000 for continental tires AND alignment (about $50 discount), but still kinda way over my budget. I didn't expect the tires has been worn out this quickly. I saw the bulletin about the recall on Bridgestone tires, but my car already is over 20000 miles....

Any suggestion?

Costco is selling non-RFT for BMWs. Does this mean I'll have to always carry a spare tire in my trunk??

Try this first ...or go to www.tirerack.com much cheaper then getting it through the dealer. Also, why do you need an alignment. Unless you're already having problem with the way your car tracks you will not need alignment because of tire change.

Thanks!
The SA I was talking with said the tire alignment would be needed.. That's all.

Because SA said the worn-out pattern on the front tires is due to either the defected tires or the car's alignment.

What's the symptom of the car with bad alignment?
Thanks.

BTW, I called the BMWNA about the tire, but the person I talked to didn't even know there's such a bulletin about Bridgestone Turanza. Instead he gave me a Bridgestone phone number... What's the point?
