anyone know part numbers for screws?
I totally stripped one of my screws that holds down the AC filter. Does anyone know where I can get this online. Not going to go to the dealer and have them question why.

Are you sure you stripped the screw? Unless BMW changed the design, the cabin airfilter housing screws screw into the plastic cowling. Are the threads damaged on the screw? So even if the screw is damaged, just take a good one to the dealer and say you lost one. Buy a few extra, they are 38 cents each.

Yea I doubt the screw itself is stripped....you probably stripped the plastic in which case you need to stuff some steel wool in there and replace the screw.
The steel wool should grab the sides of the plastic and the offset space from the screw should apply enough pressure to hold both the screw and the steel wool in the plastic. Or you can get a new housing..... |

(1) JB Weld the hole and redrill the hole back to size (2) Take the car to a (plastic) sign making shop. They will probably be able to plastic-weld the hole shut then redrill the hole back to size. (3) Get a bigger screw... |

Having used JB Weld in the past, I would say option 1 is the best/most practical
