anyone build their own cockpit for race sim?

A little off topic here..
but i have a Bride seat sitting around, i want to build a cockpit to play GT5
but my seat has no bracket or slider, is there any cheap solution if i want to make the seat adjustable? can i just source any kind of bracket and sliders from junkyard to fit it on the seat?
Thanks for your help!

Not to hijack your thread but having never played GT, how does it compare to Forza?

Not as hardcore... but I have the Thrustmaster Ferrari 430 Scuderia Wireless Cockpit. It's great for my tiny living room. It has a detachable wheel and the whole thing folds away neatly. It works with PS3 and PC. Only downside is no force feedback.

have a Racaro sitting at home also,
i'm still looking for a frame to use the Recaro,

So you would have to make some kind of mount for the steering wheel then.
