special order questions

hello, i just ordered my 328i mid nov.
manual
2 wheel
crimson red (special order)+$400
nav, premuim, and sports pack, (with 17" #286 wheels)

i was wondering if i could have ordered it with different wheels than those such as 5 spoke #287 18" (standard on 335i) and even pay a extra cost for that option?
dealer said no, but then some dealers didnt tell me about ordering the car color that i want either for small cost, it was, "look at this nice grey or silver i have", and i was close to buying a c300 cause of i could get the color i like but glad i ordered this instead.
does anybody know if the special order options apply to this also and how to go about it?

Anything can be done if you are willing to pay for it. It will likely be cheaper for you to just take delivery with whatever wheels and buy those 335 wheels second hand. But I'm positive the dealer can arrange something.

well the rep pulled off the sheet of tires and wheels that they have listed in the parts area and $4500 later. showed me this and i asked what are mine worth? like take them off as soon as car lands and put those on and how much extra i ask? no, you would have 2 sets of summer tires and wheels.
i understand the dealer may not want them, but i was hoping that germany would be able to do the change and charge me the difference and the dealer makes his $400. special order charge plus the upgrade cost of the wheels and tires.

I think that if they are not considered as optional wheels (i.e. available as an upgrade when you order your car) you would have to buy them as a second set from the dealership.
