Safety first: Another IND Portfolio Project pays a visit to Fall Line Motorsports
The upcoming few weeks will be progressively more hectic here at IND as we pick up the pace on our newest Portfolio Project. We have already installed ESS’ VT2-600 supercharger kit, and this week were ready to take the next major step- the roll bar.
Although there are some commercially available roll bars, and shops offering to weld in a custom roll bar are a very common sight in the Chicagoland area, in our eyes there is only one shop capable of achieving the quality of work and level of professionalism our clients require and that shop is Fall Line Motorsports. Fall Line is a real, established race shop with years of experience in motorsport. Fall Line’s success in Grand Am with the E92 M3 chassis has separated them from the other BMW performance shops in the area and makes them an obvious choice for IND’s road-going Portfolio cars. You can see the level of professionalism in these photos as Fall Line’s technicians carefully mask and protect the M3, prior to beginning work on the roll bar. In these photos, Fall Line fabricators have welded in the floor plates, and are preparing to build and install the main hoop. http://www.fall-linemotorsports.com/ Fall-line tour - http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthr...ine+Motorsport Here's a bonus photo of an E92 M3 Race build that Fall-line was putting together during our visit-
