Will new M3 have HUD?

I love the heads up display (HUD) on the M6. I hope the new M3 will have it too. Anyone heard any rumors whether it will or not?

There will be no HUD afaik! Allegedly there's not enough space in the E9x dashboard to house the HUD.

Noooooooooooooooo! That's a really cool feature. It would be disappointing for it not to have it.

Good find, but I would say a lot of the information on the pricelist is wrong. So why not also the HUD?

EDIT:
I just sent Gustav a message since he would know for sure I could have sworn I saw it in one of the videos but the one I just checked didn't have it & don't have time to sit through all of them to know for sure...

ORIGINAL POST:
This is wrong b/c when Hartge did its H50 3-series w/ the M5 engine in it they also installed the HUD they didn't change the size of the car only the components...I hope they'll have it...only downfall is for the MT there is a blank spot where the gear indicator is for SMG (this is on the M5 MT)

That's new to me. Just checked some pictures of the H50. Can't see an HUD:

I'm curious as to why you say that.

Being able to know your speed and revs without having to look down at your gauges is *very* nice. Jut ask any M5, M6, Corvette owner.

Spencer, I would not knock it till you try it. The HUD is awesome, I have it in my beast (m5). You should drive one with it and you will change your tune I think.

I agree, it's definitely a cool feature to have. Not completely necessary, but useful and definitely has the "wow" factor

It just adds weight.

Although it would be neat, I doubt I would ever consider it. For those who like this kind of thing, I hope it is offered as an option.

But was it worth bumping a 4.5 yr old thread for that comment?
