Tire Kit for 335i

Hey Guys...I was quoted $160 for a mini spare and a jack to keep in my trunk during the winter...Is this a good price? I think its a good idea since i am running NON RFT Winter Tires

why not go to Princess Auto and buy a jack for $30

It'll do the same thing.

hmm, I wonder how mini the spare is since it has to clear your brakes on the 335

The ony compact spare I know of is this one but it will NOT fit a 335i as stated in the web site. It only works with a 325i.

If you want a portable jack this is the one I bought. The top of the jack fits into the plastic cups perfectly - no need for a jack block adaptor. The torque wrench is pre-set for 130nm so just turn until it clicks. Very convenient. All you need to add is a breaker bar to loosen the lugs (never use a torque wrench to do it), and a very short extension so you won't scratch your wheels.
