Calling all owners of the Hartge Front lip for Installation

I just received the front lip from FedEx a couple of days ago and was wondering if anyone has done the install by themselves. Looking at the instructions, it doesn't appear to be too tough!

Anyone do the install by themselves? I was planning on getting it painted and asking a buddy to help me install this badboy. Recommendations? Should I just get it painted and leave it at the shop for them to put it on?

Thanks for any responses! I appreciate it. :rocks:

Must be excited... Where did you get the Hartge Lip?
Did you have to order it from Hartge company in Europe directly or is there a local dealer who carries the Hartge kit?

Few people here have the lip, perhaps you can ask them. Agio E90 and Sunchild are two that I remember.

If the instructions are clear and you're somewhat mechanically inclined, then maybe you'd want to try it yourself and if you run into trouble you can then go the option of using the body shop. I've always appreciated mods I made to my cars myself even more than what I've paid others to do for me.

Great choice on the Hartge lip and can't wait to see pics!

I ordered the lip from Auto-Mark. I have been kind of lazy and haven't gone out for an estimate on the paint job yet. Hopefully, I can take some time off work to get this bad boy painted and installed.

and thanks jwocky...I sent PMs to both of them for their input!

Installation instructions for anyone that wants them are now posted at http://www.auto-mark.com/e90lipspoilerinstall.doc. It's a big (1.74Mb) file, so be prepared! Please contact me with any questions on this or any other authentic HARTGE items.
