How to reset TPMS, no i-drive?

Front left indicator went off this morning on my non-i drive '08 335i. Stopped by a discount tire on the way to work, guy said FL was 30, should be 32. He topped off all 4 tires, but how do I reset the TPMS?
Toggled through with stalk to low TP warning, pushed to reset, but nothing happened. Unfortunately the owner's manual that came with my car is for the idrive version.
Can stop by dealer on way home, but would like to know how to reset it myself.

park the car while started, scroll to TPMS, and hold in the button.

come to a complete stop, scroll to the tpms reset and hold. A check mark should show up indicating it's complete. Then drive off!

Like I said, my book is for i-drive models and I don't have i-drive.

I never had to reset my TPMS. When the temp drops and I get the low TP warning, I go to the gas station, top off, and start my car. The warning is gone, and I have never had to toggle to reset it. Am I missing anything?

I don’t think you’re missing anything. If the warning went away then there should be no worries. I did the same thing as you and my warning never went away. So I had to find a solution!

I'm pressing and holding the Reset button for 5 secons, 10 seconds, more than a minute and release but the checkmark does not show on the displayed box. What am I doing wrong? Any ideas?

13 years later......

Vehicle needs to be started but not moving to initiate a reset. Once you are on the "reset" option, hold for 5 seconds it will change to "resetting". Then go drive for a bit, needs vehicle motion to complete the procedure.
