CBS "Vehicle Check"

My CBS is telling me that I need to get a "Vehicle Check" soon. I searched and only found threads with no answers....telling the OP to go the dealer.

Anyone know what the Vehicle check consists of? To my understanding it's just an inspection around the car but I want to double check.

Is this necessary? I hate going to any dealer. Ever since my warranty expired, I got myself a BT tool and maintain the car myself.

Would love to clear this "Vehicle Check" from my CBS if it is just a vehicle inspection, walk around.

If you're within the free maintenance period it is free. If out of warranty, just look the car over and clear the service interval. It's just an inspection and readout of codes.

I got this from a guy that works in an european dealership:

Test: suspension, breakes, all lights/displays, liquids, wipers, horn, tires, seatbelts, exhaust, leaks (e.g. break lines).
Push/pull lifted wheels, check for play. Use Kent Fuel guard 2 to clean injectors, adjust beam hight and a general visual inspection.

Yea I thought it would be something like this. Thanks for the response guys.

I can check all these myself. I have already test all module in my car via BT scan tool so I think I'm just going to clear it....

BTW, I'm under CPO now. Came out of the new car warranty last winter at 50K.
