Pictures of F01 303 20" wheels on F11 - Opinions?
Hi,
I got to try on a set of 20" M-sport 303s which is for the 7 series, on my F11 today. I love these wheels, but needed to check if it was possible with the offset of the wheels. I think the rear looks perfect! What do you guys think? Does the front wheel stick out too much? FYI the tyres on these wheels are for the 7 series, so too much rubber. They are 245/40/20 (front) and 275/35/20 (rear) On the 5 series they should be: 245/35/20 (front) and 275/30/20 (rear) Question: Do you think I should try out a 235/35/20 in front, to keep as much of the tyre inside the fender? Also; Is it OK to do this. A bit concerned about the fact that these wheels wasn't built for this car. Offsets are off (even though it looks nice). Is there any other cons for using different offset than the actual fitting of the wheel? Best Claus |

Wow, I think they look terrific! Really powerful wheels.
But, as You say, there are too much rubber. The diameter of the wheels are too big. One other consideration with big offset changes are that you change the wheel geometry. I donīt know if it makes any big difference with 8mm / side?

I think this should work and the wheels looks great, of course change the tires to F10/11 size.
The difference in offset is 8mm in the front. ET25 (F01/F07) vs. ET33 (F10/F11) Also, I think Lacster is running 20x9 ET25 on his F10.

I think they look great. The F11 is no small car so the 20" fits it nicely.

Yeah, I need to change tyres.
Do you think I should go for 235/35/20? F11s normal tyressize is 245/35/20. Because the offset is a bit off, maybe I should compensate with a narrower front tyre? Also: This car need to be lowered! Is that a problem with EDC? Any expert comments on this matter? /c Last edited by ClausCoupe; 11-14-2010 at 04:30 PM.. Reason: Edit |

http://f10.5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=401721 ACSchnitzer has lowering spring for F10/11 with EDC. Take a look at EdwinF10's F10, looks great if you don't want to slam it. http://f10.5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=451540
