Wheel stuck

I was trying to attempt to swap my summers to winters but one wheel is stuck. Whats the trick on getting it unstuck?

Keep in mind, I have the car on jack and stands.

I use a rubber hammer and go at the tires. Should loosen the wheel off the hub.

Some people like to use their feet.

+1

Since you have jack and stand, this should be ok to do.

Go to Canadian Tire and get some anti-sieze compound to put around the hub and ur rim, so it's easier for you to remove your wheels after the winter

Smack the stuck tire with one of your summer tires.

Just make sure your car will not move or tip over the jack stands!

release the jack EVERSO SLOWLY so that the car puts some pressure on that stuck wheel (loosen the bolts).. once you see the wheel shift/pop out then raise it back up..

Just give it a couple light kicks and it will pop right off. Make sure you put anti-seize on the wheel hub, it will prevent this from happening going forward.

I did the jack trick and it work beautifully.

You can also try some WD40 right at the contact point. Just wait a couple minutes and then resume the kicking game.

Since you are using proper kick stands, keep one lug on slightly (to prevent it from falling) and then hit the tire with a rubber mallet or kick it.

Probably a lot safer. There is no way that I would want to kick a wheel when the car is on stands. If I were going to kick a wheel, I would just lift that single corner slightly off the floor. ER's are too crowded already without people kicking cars on jack stands.
