Which setup for track day

I have a set of OEM 17's sitting in the garage with the original RFT's on them- still have a bit of tread, but not a ton. Currently my car has Avante Garde 341's (19's) with hancook evo 12's. I am inclined to put the 17's back on to save my daily driven tires, but not sure- thoughts?

43 views- zero comments? I am just curious what the sentiment is towards going back to the runflats for one weekend or running the 19s and eating up my newer tires.

First time at the track? If it is, it really wont matter what you run. Just go out, learn the lines, and most importantly have fun.

When you decide to make track days a regular event (for most people it's right after the first event), put the 17s on and forget about them, as the previous poster said you'll have other things to focus on.

Depending on the condition of your pads/fluid, you might want to change them out prior to your first track day. Being new to the track scene, you might run the risk of boiling your fluid.

Have fun out there!

If it were me, I'd go and burn up the 17's. I'd then put some nicer track rubber on the 17s cause 17" tires are cheaper than 19" tires, and the 17's are probably lighter. Thats what I'd do at least, mostly because I'm cheap.
