NorCal Z4MC FS!

Yesterday, I went into my local dealer (Stevens Creek BMW) in Santa Clara and spotted a black Z4MC on the dealer lots. I didn't have time to go check over the specs, but I'm assuming it's a lease return. If anyone happens to be in the market for a Z4MC, it's worth a look
Though SC BMW is known to charge slightly higher prices. But then again, what BMW dealer doesn't? lolll

I got pwn'd by Stevens Creek BMW... But then again... it was the only AW/IR combo available in CA for sale back then (1.5 months ago).

What's the story on that? I'm curious.

SCBMW, hell, all BMW's are shady as hell. I can't wait until my warranty runs out. Don't trust them one bit. They have no credibility imho
Their salespeople are hit or miss, typically miss. They'll be nice to you until they close a deal with you. Parts department is a complete ripoff unless you get them to pricematch Tischer
And their techs typically suck, so their overall service sucks. Really no helping there.

In the future, I'll try to do as much simple things on my own to save on labor, and will pay an indy shop only for items that are beyond my level/comprehension/experience

I got pwn'd as in I had to buy my car with them... and not a private party. So I negotiated as much as I could... and yes... their salespeople are really nice to you until they deliver you the keys... then they start ignoring you... 1.5 months later... I still haven't received my bluetooth code to activate my phone with the car... And I'm too lazy to take my car to change the passenger's cupholder (BMW of SD). I'm going up next week but I will just cruise by the dealer to ask about my phone activation code... But other than that... I won't let them inspect my car... HAHAHA! I'm planning to take my car over to JleviSW to reflash my car so everything works together. How do you like your AA reflash?

Ah, that sucks
G'luck with the bluetooth code! For the record, my service adviser (Gary Wilson) over at BMW of Mountain View has never let me down. He's the only "factory" guy that's never let me down
He got me in and out for a passenger side cupholder in about 30 minutes

I'm lovin' the AA tune, it's pretty gnarly once it fully adapts. If you want, we could meet up when you're up here, and do like a mini-meet @ JSW. Dorifto88 should come too, since we've met up before already anyhow

I'm going up Tuesday afternoon... Should be there Tuesday night...

I'll be available Wednesday pretty sure! I'm planning to get it tuned Wednesday hopefully and we'll definitely have a mini-meet if everyone is up for it!

Wednesday afternoon I've got class @ 3PM, so it depends what time you get your tune done (which takes about an hour or so).
As for Dorifto88, he works, so he might not be able to make it out unless it's on his lunch break or something.

where do you go to school? De Anza? Foothill? I transferred down to UCSD last year.

Friday-Sunday I'm going to be up in SF. Heard of Dash Berlin? He's playing at Ruby Skye.

I saw you at Stevens Creek Blvd close to Vallco and what not... but I was riding my friend's car. I ended up not tuning... since I decided to buy another set of wheels (bbs rsgt) and saving up for SC kit... Just got back after a 9hr drive... traffic everywhere... I'm tired. Well... next time!

Oh really?! When was this?! You should've said hi anyway lol. I love pleasant surprises.
"Wait, who are you?"
"Ohh, I'm blah blah blah"
" " lolll

Smart man, saving up for the SC haha. I figured it'd be a longggg while until I go FI. By that time, I'm hoping that someone comes out with a turbo kit for us lol since I'm biased towards turbo applications

Would you be interested at all for the Dec. 31st NCRC track day @ Laguna Seca? Probably cheapest price you'll find anywhere. ~$180 for the entire day for non NCRC members

Haha I have two mutual acquaintances that were looking to buy your AW/IR Z4MC back when it was on SCBMW's lot lol, just found this out recently. I told both of them that I "know the current owner" haha

HAHAHA! I just uploaded my most recent pic in the sig. This was taken at a car wash on El Camino Real at Santa Clara. 100% hand wash w/ "wax" for 8 bucks... very decent for the price. You should drive down... You'll see how comfortable the car is! Thankfully no one bought the car before me... I've been looking for this color combo for ages!

Just an FYI HPF is fabricating a turbo for the Z4M as per Chris when I got my suspension done by them a couple months ago. They had a donor Z4M that they were working on so its in the works.

Oh, I have no doubts about the car being able to do long-distance trips without a hiccup. I just don't want to put unnecessary mileage. Especially since I'm already driving it daily
And yeah, I'm jealous of your color combo

lol I know which car wash u went to haha. I eat around that area every now and then. It's known as K-town. A bunch of Korean shops/stores there. I'm not Korean, but I enjoy Korean food

Hah! I spent about 4 hours of wasted time at Steven's Creek BMW. I'm decideded to actively search (instead of window shop). They had a 2008 Z4 3.0si in black that I liked. They wouldn't budge on price and low balled me on my trade in. After a couple of test drives I decided to leave and they refused to give my key back and wanted me to talk sales manager.

They do have a nice 2006 Z4 M Conv with only 9,800 miles. It's out of warranty tho, and the inside of the car was dirty as hell.

I'm shopping private party now, and hopefully will be joining the Z4 family in the next couple of weeks.
