Moving out Jan 10th - questions

What's up guys,

I'm finally moving out Jan 10th, just had a few questions about cars for everyone.

I'm fairly modded right now and have plans for more, but I have a good SA and tech here in DC that I get away with some stuff. I also have a lot of gearheads in the area that give me a hand working on stuff on the side, removing mods, etc.

My questions are,
1) How is BMW of Honolulu's service department in terms of being "mod friendly"? Seems like our balls are kind of tied with dealership choice lol, and
2) Do any of you guys work on your cars? We have DIY days here like once a month where a bunch of us get together and help each other out. I'm gonna be living in a condo so there I won't have a driveway/garage to do work on.

I always see you guys have your bimmernights, look forward to meeting you guys. Hope you're open to new faces haha

yo! this forum isnt really active with lots of the bmw guys from hawaii...

youll find most of the activity in the bimmerforums under hawaii and other islands.

as for the dealership it has had mixed reviews i think it depends on who you work with.

and the mods... if you need any help im sure any one of the guys will be able to help you out. its hawaii so just be nice and get to know the people then youll probably have an easier job adjusting to beautiful hawaiian life.

check out bimmerforums!

I've been hanging around this section for a few months now and it seems like you have a good group, I'm looking forward to it.
