reading codes with bt tool
Hey, i have been scanning my car for a while now because of vanos issues and for one reason or another i had my vanos/ limp mode codes deleted. now when i scan it gives me these 3 codes and nothing else. is is possible to have the codes reset by themselves? i am running a v4. thanks

Consensus seems to be it’s related to the new software being installed. I have the same codes showing since a software update a month ago. Once cleared, they come right back. I’m also experiencing the 29F2 code and rough starting which throws it into limp mode. I need to take it in for HPFP replacement.

I would agree because these have started showing up after I received a software update, but one day the regular limp mode / vanos codes showed up instead of these weird new codes...after the update that is. What I am worried about is tuning detection codes and not bring able go see/distinguish/delete them. To a certain extent , this renders our bt tool useless.
