any pics of F10 m sport alpine white/cinnamon brown

Hi all,

New here, currently have a Z4 and looking to get a new 5 series shortly. I like the idea of an alpine white m-sport against a cinnamon brown leather interior but i'm struggling to find any pictures of one to see how it looks in real life!

Can anyone help?

many thanks
Rob

I have this combo in an F11. I will take some tomorrow and post if nobody else has them to hand. Works really well with the brushed alloy trim. Very happy with mine.

Perfect, brushed alloy is even the trim i'm looking to spec!

It seems impossible to find pictures of this combination on the web, my three most local dealers have never seen one either. looking forward to seeing your car

Took these today, the colour does not always reproduce true on a PC, but combo is really good in real life.

i see what you mean, pictures from each side of the car seem very different.

Not one i've seen on PC looks like the configurator yet either!

The leather seems quite dark on the configurator (below) and one i have seen in real life in a 5 series gt seemed dark but it was in a dark blue car through tinted windows.

Rob,

I took some more photos today with a better camera, although I have had to reduce the size to upload them. The colour is difficult to capture, it is a bit like the oyster and changes with the light, in some light it is a flat brown and in bright light it has a pinkish tint. These pictures capture it well on my Mac screen.

You either love it or hate it, it's like Marmite!
On the subject of DFS, it's all leather and I doubt the quality used by BMW in Dakota is any better than DFS use.

I meant more the colour cheapens it if you know what I mean.

We will have to agree to disagree on this one I'm afraid. I know it's your choice but to me and a lot of others it ain't nice.

It's definitely not nice for you to make derogatory remarks about another user's car - especially when he did NOT ask you or anyone for an opinion or comment; he was just helping out the OP, a fellow forum user, by posting the requested photos. And don't try to act as if you are speaking for "a lot of others"... you aren't. At least BMW engineers/designers believe that this color combo works (personal preference, obviously), otherwise, it would not be offered.

Thanks for taking the time to take these - I think it looks great against white!

With white the only real choice to give a good contrast for the interior is cinnamon or black leather ; the black leather just seems to be the obvious choice but makes for a very, very dark interior in the m sport.

also well said nosnoop

Really nice with white, as well (I ordered the same combo with space grey). I think our combo is a mix of sport/classic that works very well. Consider this is one of the today favourite combos for Maserati and Ferrari (when not in red). However I respect all the other possible alternatives. Everyone drives what he likes NOW and not what 2nd hand buyers could like next 4/5 years!
