Painting an E92 Aero Lip - From Bmw collision centre?
I was wondering what a reasonable price to pay for getting my e92 Aero Lip Painted would be?
I don't have any reputable paint shops around and the BMW dealership closest is Bluegrass BMW in Paducah, Kentucky. They have a collision center for all their cars they use and they recommended I go there for my painting. Would this be a safe choice in terms of paint match? There is also a FORD dealership they recommended if I want something a bit closer The collision center didn't really give me a price it seemed like they were trying to ask how much I think I should be paying so I was wondering what I should be looking to pay so I can shoot them my offer. Also, they offered to do an install whats a reasonable price for install? I assume its pretty easy to do yourself, but I'm living in a hotel right now and don't have access to any tools. |

i wouldn't do it yourself unless you have experience painting car parts. From what I've read you can expect to pay around $200, especially if its a BMW collision center... maybe tell the painter you will give him $150 cash after hours... good luck! The aero lip completely changes the E92

Yeah I was hoping to pay around $150 for the paint, for $200 it brings the price too close to getting one pre-painted from a vendor.
