Thumbs up HPF 335i Progress

We've made some more progress on our 335i project. It's been a bit slow because of all the E46 M3 stuff we're doing.

We built a new engine dolly for the 335i, and a jig for the 335i exhaust. We also pulled this motor out so we can start designing the turbo system.

Chris.

Well it's taken almost 5 years to get N54 love, so you better get to waiting.

Good job, Chris. I'm hoping that you guys start putting all of your energy behind the PROPER upgrading of the fuel system (read:upgrading the stock pump and injectors), because that's where your $ maker is gonna be...

on a side note: I bet that cart could win some races if you only bolted the motor to it...

I agree, I would be one of the first in line for that...I cant believe there has been any attention put into this so far. Although I guess no one has really pushed the issue yet bc I heard the fuel system can handle about 450 whp. Not a lot of n54's over that.....YET.

I'm just wondering how different the block is, maybe with a few tweaks it'll fit both systems.

Holy cow Chris, you guys dropped the engine and all... you aren't playing.

Looking good... please keep us tuned on the mufflered version of the exhaust.

There might actually be some room for larger turbos if you modify the outlet pipe... Still a very tight fit.
