LED Interior Kit, License, Angel Eyes
Hey guys i'm newbie with any type of mods, i wanted to know what you guys think is the best for led interior kit, license plate, and angel eyes.
So far i was thinking of getting Mtec for the License plate and AE for an AW E90. Any suggestions. Thanks |

Try e92-lighting.com i got my license plate LEDs (Mtec) from them.
And they do offer an entire LED interior kit. Installation took no more that 30 minutes.. Hardest to deal with was the center boards. try their site and go to live support. They should be able to guide you with whatever you need. The DIY is in these forums somewhere, just gotta look it up. Anymore questions dont hesitate to ask. For the angel eyes, I'd go with an LED upgrade like WeissLicht. You can also do the matching WeissLicht LED License plate lights for a complete setup.

Apparently the person who runs the site is either sick or hurt from a car accident. Other people can't get a response from him and that's the answer that's been goin around.

Link from Kev for interior kit. I'm in the process of doing it.
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=306054 Installation: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=273231 I tried ordering from F1autohaus.com - don't do it! I ordered it to find out a week later that my order was cancelled. Wrote to f1autohaus - no response. Don't waste your time. Paul |

Just installed my WeissLicht plate lights from JLevi. They're a very clean white light, looks nice. I think they're a bit too bright though (as I suspected they would be since it's 18 LEDs per side). I decided to give them a try because they're guaranteed error free and only $35 vs. $50-80 for some of the other license plate lights out there. $35 already seemed like a lot for what it is, $80 is nuts. I took a quick pic in the parking garage so there's a lot of ambient light (it's snowing like crazy here right now so I'm not going outside...) LED on the left, OEM on the right.

It's an easy install. My experience with the install is this. DON'T TRY TO UN-CLIP THE FRONT DOME FROM THE REAR. DO IT FROM THE FRONT. I spend so long trying like hell to get it off from the rear like it shows in the DIY and it was hell. I think if you have really small hands you could do it. If you go from the front, it's a cinch. And dumbass me..if I would have just read the thread, further down a guy says this very thing. Other than that, all the other bulbs are really easy. But I did break my trunk housing. I still don't know how I did that. I bought a new one from jlevi cause the LED trunk light he sells is the whole part in one. But I went to put it in and it doesn't pop in tight, so I need to figure that one out. The dome LED lights, the sun shade lights and trunk light are REALLY bright and awesome. The rest of the bulbs aren't too bright. But the other ones are the only ones that really matter. I also bought the Weisslicht bulbs for the front footwells from jlevi. THOSE ARE REALLY BRIGHT. Also be careful with the rear footwell bulbs, the housings for those are easily bent.... I think that's everything I can think of.
