Hesitation while accelerating

When I accelerate from 0, there is some hesitation on my 2011 323i. it usually happens when the engine is abit cold and I am not flooring it.
Is this normal?

I noticed that too (Auto). But it was a loaner. Very annoying.

Yes Auto, noticed this on my test drive as well. It almost feels like a slow response to the accelarator. If you floor it, it moves.

I've got the same issue on my 328i. It works fine in DS mode right? Does for me. Or if I just apply a tiny bit more gas.

i got the exact same issue with my 328xi best fix is pbx and that lag dissapears =D

The car will pull away in second gear if you're not in DS mode, so that might explain it.

Try D/S though. It does the work for me on the 328.

pbx= powerbox made by burger tuner. You can do a search on it. Its basically a chip that tricks your engine to perform better
