328i LCI lights mod question

I've been reading about putting on the LCI lights on older models (I have a 2007 328i convertible) and I am confused.... If I put them on with the wire harness I need to purchase, will I have the dash error lights on and the fast blinker? Will I have any other problems? Do I need to update the software on the computer? Also, will the E92 ones fit? I keep seeing the E92 ones online, but I'm not sure they will fit the E93. Thanks!

Yes, there will be errors on the dash and you will have the fast blinker. Another problem is that the lights flicker at start up (BulbCheck sends pulses to see if the bulbs are out). This can be fixed by coding.

The E92 LCI lights will NOT fit the E93.

Thanks! Does anyone code in Los Angeles? How much do you charge? Also, does it affect the warranty in any way or will the dealer know? What else are you guys capable of changing with your coding?
