Deposit for f10 M5 yet?

I'm just wondering if its even possible to place a deposit for the future F10 M5 now at their local dealerships? How much? What dealers/countries?
Just getting really exited about f10 m5, like everyone else.
Thanks

Garage List
My two local BMW dealerships have given me two different prices.

1. $500

2. $1,000

To get on the list for the F10 M5. I won't disclose which ones just yet because I wouldn't want you to take my place in line. :-D

M5 Deposits

I work at a BMW dealer and we are taking $500. deposits for allocations when they become available. We have 1 or 2 already reserved.

What's the point? I would hope/assume you have a good enough relationship with your dealer that if you tell them/express your interest they will hold you to it and not require a deposit, let alone one for $500/$1000. I mean what is the point, in the grand scheme of what will likely be a $100K car, what does $500 do?

Then you shouldn't have a problem paying $500 to reserve yourself one. It's just business don't take it personally.

a deposit of $500 is not much, but it's pointless.
what will be interesting is if they allow anyone to drive a non-demonstrator with a $1K deposit in cash.
