Squeaky Brakes Upon Releasing

This is my second BMW.
My first was a new 03 330 convertible. No brake issues.
My new 08 335 convertible has
a reoccurring problem with squeaks after releasing them like upon take off from a red light. It usually happens after the car has been on the road a while. The dealer replaced the rear brakes at 19k miles. The squeak came back 4 months later. The dealer cleaned them and it improved for a few days. I went back and complained to the service director. They sanded down some part so that the sensor wouldn't squeal upon releasing. I will let you know how that works out.

I love BMW but it sure has its share if issues. I've had an 03 Acura TL and an 07 MDX with no issues. Also a 07 Lexus IS250 with no issues. I realize they don't perform the same, but they're only in the shop for scheduled maintenance.

If it's the sensor that is squeaking you can take it out and tie it to something so it doesn't get tangled with anything. Just keep an eye on your pads.

yup that just happened to me..

took the car in...they changed my rear rotors and pads all along.

issues happened before twice before my last encounter.

3 times total. maybe this time stays quiet. everything is new.

PS: the dealer gave me problems at first and they didnt wanna do all this. They told me they couldnt figure out the problem..

So i test drove the car with the tech and pointed out to him in 10 minutes what the problems was.

ehhh
