You can go to the performance center in Spartenberg (sp?). They have an "M School" and an "advanced M school". You have to pay, but it should deffinately be worth it.

I went to the Z8 driving experience down there (as a guest of a Z8 owner) and it was one of the most fun weekends ever. Learned alot, and they provide the cars so you don't have to worry about damaging your own. In fact, their moto down there is to remember "NYC... Not Your Car". They encourage you to beat the crap out of these things.

They can probably point you in the right direction, but I am not certain of how to sign up for the M school.

When I attended it was different since BMW was picking up the tab for the Z8 experience.

That would be a nice offer.

However considering how well M3's sell and how successful that school is, I doubt they'll offer it for free. Maybe a reduced arte or something. Contact your dealer to find out.

The BMW Driving Experience is offered to those who purchase a M5/6 new (not second owner) for free which includes two days at Spartenburg in NC & hotel & all meals only thing you have to pay for is your flight to NC...this was also offered to Z8 owners since the engine was same as the E39 M5...

There is a Performance school that you can attend but it'll be out of your own pocket:
http://www.bmwusa.com/bmwexperience/...ter/school.htm

I have a friend who bought an M5 & I asked him when he was going & he looked at me like I had something growing out of my head...he called his dealer to find out they knew nothing, so I got him more info from the M5board & he just did it this past Dec. says it was the most fun he's ever had driving...he repayed me w/ a simple thanks & took his gf...

do a search on YouTube for M driving experience & you'll see videos I hope they'll offer it for the next M3 but I highly doubt it...

No, but you do get to drive one at the Performance Center as well as the M-Coupe basically the whole line during different obstacles...I can't wait until its my turn, maybe it'll be when I get an M5/M6 but I would love it with the M3

The "BMW buffet" as they called it. When I was there it was a 760 (before they were at the dealers), and E46 M3 (SMG), a Z4 and an X5 4.6.

We also got a sneak peek at the 545 before it was even photographed and press released. It was there doing testing on their track. They made us promise not to take any pictures.

I just recalled that my buddy asked one of the instructors about the next ///M3 & if they would offer the class for them...buddy said that iys a possibility since its going to be 400+ hp like the E39 M5, but maybe he was just pulling my leg who knows, right now its all spectulation like everything else....i'm not sure why BMW doesn't use it as a selling point no one else offers it for FREE!!! or do they?

Not the M3 (at least the E46). M5 and Z8 always had it. I believe the current M5&6 include it too.

I hope not, that means a higher base price. Nothing is free :-)
