LSD Install

What is required to install the Wavetrac or Quaife LSD on my car - 2007 E92 335?

I really want to install an LSD ... just don't want to many problems with the install since I live in Hong Kong ... What is required to install? Is it just remove and install?

I was a bit confused with the threads I searched ...

Thanks

Automatic or Manual trans?

Automatic is just a swap out
Manual would be out of the question if you don't have someone who does differential work locally

Automatic ... so just a swap in and out ... That sounds good but the shipping will probably kill me. Will have to think abt it but with nearly 400whp your really need it?

Its not an easy swap and you would need to go to a shop that has experience with differentials. The car also requires a special driveshaft wrench to take it off. AR design makes one.

I have an LSD and you will never know the difference for day to day driving.

Need to know your build date/model etc...tranny.

All auto trannies should be a bolted setup. Which is just swapping the diff etc...

Manual's after, I think 07/07 or about, are welded. Which requires a complete swap including pumpkin. Wavetrac will do a complete swap with core etc...already built, but you are charged for the labor etc..

Get in touch with Mike from N54Tuning regarding Wavetrac, we just did a group buy and he can explain the details better for each scenario.,
