Rear suspension broken

First off, my car is an E92 with 49.9k on the clock. Service appt this wednesday, but want to get an idea of what it could be.

Went to take a road trip, and my passenger rear wheel is tucked most of the way up in my wheel arch (bone stock suspension). All other wheels are at standard ride height. This happened all of a sudden, but no noises to indicate anything snapping or breaking. Since we took my wifes car on the trip (and driving back home today) I have not been able to get under the car to see what it is.

Any ideas? Blown strut, broken spring, sub-frame issues?

When I say this wheel was tucked, I mean this corner of the suspension was slammed.

pictures attached. Taken from the exact same height and angle. Minor difference when unloaded, major difference when loaded.

Trunk is completely unloaded. When it is loaded, that passenger side sinks significantly more.

I also took a quick look underneath without jacking it up. I could not see anything visible, but I think it might be a broken spring.

Anyone had a broken spring before?
