Tyre dressing
Anyone have any advice, I am using some meguiars hot shine its awful .
When you spray it on the overspray gets all on the wheel and attracts the brake dust and looks shit . |

Try spraying it on a foam applicator first then apply it to the tyre. buff with a microfiber if you want a more subtle look.
Meguiars Endurance gel or Chemical guys tyre and trim gel are also good to try. |

Chemical Guys - New Look Trim Gel
Applied on a foam applicator which is then kept in a plastic bag so that it becomes impregnated with the stuff. This allows me to apply it very thinly (no throw off) and you only need to top up the applicator occasionally. The bottle lasts ages and the tyres have a natural look to them.

Try armorall extreme shine gel in the orange/black bottle. Apply a small amount andlet it dry and you will be amazed. It is really light so it wont sling too bad. Do it in the sun for best results.

Autoglym foaming tyre spray for me, but needs to be done weekly really, I'm sure there are better products out there, never got on with any meguires products, I can really recommend autoglym detailing wax, it cost £50 & you have to clay bar the car first, but it defo worth iit, last for ages and the water beads a treat

Megs Endurance - used it for a couple of years now - by far the best and tyres still look good days after - I use an old microfibre cloth to apply it
Bottle lasts for ages too. |
