Recent track day in Spa

Whilst heading for Spa in early October i was full or dread and foreboding! After-all, its the norm at Spa for it to have crap weather at this time of year.

I have posted some videos from clients cars which just show how good the 2 days were.

Turn up the volume!

BMW M3 Quasi CSL

Nice work.
The M3 is pretty rapid, and 135 into EauRouge is not to be sniffed at!
I love Spa.
Where did you stay?

A mate of mine has just come back from an Aston organised track day there - he took his new V12 Vantage and he said it was the best track day he had ever done. Proper Aston organised tuitiion, etc...

The carbon discs did manage to kill a set of front pads though and the tyres were not looking the best after apparantly!

Okay, thats where I stopped with the wife too.
We thought it was okay, rooms small but food was but very good.
Did you have other thoughts then, either way?
Heard a few horror stories from nearby hotels, particularly friends who booked the Dorint at the top of town.
So presume we had a lucky escape...

I guess the client is sat with you in that M3.
What state of prep is it in, the corner speeds seem impressive!

good weather too, we had 30+ and dry and it was so perfect.
And a trip to the Ring and the new international circuit is not far from there.
My favorite holiday weekend for years.

My thoughts were that we would not have stayed there at the normal rate, we got it for about a 1/3 of the normal cost.

I had to bollock them about breakfast!!! we were first down for breakfast on both mornings and the coffee on the tables was cold. The cooked breakfast was still being warmed up from god know when it was cooked. pretty poor show in my opinion. wifey however liked the spa facilities.

No, the driver of the car was Calum Lockie giving instruction to the owner of the car. He was being taught just how fast that car can be pedalled!

my only claim to fame is that the video / data loggers were all mine and on hire to all of the drivers. thats my business.
