Co-worker's stock E92 sits lower than mine... Thoughts?

Hello all,

Today at work I pulled up to my coworkers e92 and noticed that his car sits significantly lower than mine. I know for a fact that we both have sports suspension. Neither of our cars have aftermarket springs, lowering perch's, etc (all stock). I have 18's and he has 17's but I didnt think the 1" in wheel size would cause such a huge disparity in ride height. Both of us are running the stock RFT's that came with the car.

Am I missing something here? The difference in drop looks to be about an inch if not more. See pics below, the pictures showing the wheel gap are much more apparent. Thoughts?

Sorry for the bad pics, its the best I can do with my work blackberry.

EDIT: I just asked him and he does NOT have anything in the trunk either.

My guess is a trunk full of dead hookers.

Either this or the dead hookers.

Did you both buy new? Could of had a previous owner change springs.

And the wheel size won't make a difference cause I'm assuming the 18inch wheels will have a lower profile.

Maybe he went down one tire sidewall profile.

17" sidewall looks very similar to the 18" sidewall. Almost like its too thin. There is most definitely a difference in wheel size here to account for.
