the connection is....many will "do springs only", many will ask "which coilovers are best"...."gc vs. pss9 vs. kw vs. h&r" etc etc etc..

my public service announcement says.....cut the bs, just go straight to moton.

Well it depends on what you want the car for. Personally as a street car I think moton's are overkill. They make awesome track setups though. Its too early to tell how the new car will perform on the track. i.e. will it take $5k to make it track ready or $20k.

I switched to the mindset of a dedicated track car a few years back. So most likely my M3 will just stay stock and be the daily commuter for me.

overkill? sure i could see that being the case..., depends, are they worth the premium over other street systems, simply for the street and only the street? part of me says..eh, but mostly imo yes. they soak up the rough stuff with their high speed bump like no other, and could save folks alot of "sampling" around trying to find the right suspension.

i suppose the jest of the post was, don't overlook them simply because of the cost.

i guess you know most of the roadfly cali dudes.....hayaku, chuckd, biodan, evan...., sean at da, jm of course, dale...yada.

gc says...merry christmas..sweet lotus by the way.

I agree. If you are going to do something its better to do it right than half way. The nitron setup I run is very similar to moton, probably a slight step down but I don't think they had an application ready for my car and I didn't want to go 1st. However, they actually ride better on the street than the stock setup did. The car is also vastly better at the track.

Expensive shocks are worth the $.

I say keep it stock until someone with Motons beats my laptimes.

Spend the $5000 on track time and track tires instead.

Roadfly sucks.

Roadfly

Agreed, roadfly has really lost it. When the E46 M3 was launching the place was fantastic. The place to discuss, BS, agree, disagree, etc.
