So much for that 9000 rpm redline, I figured that was a bit unrealistic. Looks like you can take it to about 8500 before the rev limmiter kicks though since most BMWs keep reving a bit into the red. Still will be a monster, can't wait!

The speedo goes up to 330 kph or 205mph, it would be pretty sweet if the new M3 was a 200mph production car, but once again, I doubt it.

In my mind, there's been enough e90 m3 sedan mules spotted to confirm

Interior looks a little plain, especially with the wood . IMO the M3 should only be offered in Carbon Fiber and Silver Trim. I sure hope they spruce up that interior, no stiching on the wheel either

8K redline looks good though .

I'm sure the final car will have all the cool "M" touches (stiching and badges everywhere). They're moving this car a bit upmarket so no way they lose all those things combined to the E46 M3.

Well if the reline indicator is anything like in the M6, then that red area will move higher when the engine warms up...

Just a thought.

I didnt know the M3 would be available in the Sedan, will this be out before the M3 coupe? Does anyone know if it will be available in the US?

Yea I'm sure the new M3 will get the variable redline thing too. Like terps said this thing is for sure gonna have everything the e46 had, plus more.

Nobody knows for sure if the E90 M3 will be available in the states, but some discussions earlier on the forum indicate that it might. Heres some sedan threads i searched out

Do you really think that this is the new M3? No side grills, I don't really see the quad exhaust in the back, its a sedan (and not much has been said about the M3-E90 sedan, YET) and the hood doesn't look like an M3 hood. I know it has the "M" logo in the speedo, and the brakes look true to M spec. Also as noted here already the interior looks like a normal E90 with maybe a new automatic trans?

Who knows? Guess we'll all have to wait and see!

Look at the very last picture, you can see two mufflers under the car (=quad exhaust).

Plus, multiple sedan mules have been spotted before -->

Looks to me like the redline is under 8500. You can see the hashmark for 8500 is well into the red zone.

The speedo on the M5 also goes up to 330.

I would guess that the redline is going to be 8250 -same as the M5/M6 V10 that the V8 is derived from. That is consistent with the picture as well. No real reason for BMW to push further up the scale - especially after their experience with the rod bearing issue on the E46 M3.

I agree with the comment about the interior looking kind of plain. Maybe that will get better in production...
