Exclamation Aluminium Pedals Slippery when wet?

Hi guys I once had aluminium pedals on a previous car and found them to be very slippery when wet. Has anybody experienced this with their new E90 Aluminium Pedals. Please let tell me your experiences with this as its an option which i think looks really cool but feel as if the saftey angle may not be worth the cool look. please help

Hey mate:

I have the pedals with no issues....they have rubber inserts that stick out of the face. I was disappointed that they didn't come with the dead pedal though.

No worries....the dealer did mine as part of my deal...he didn't do the dead pedal...turkey...it is another part #. I assumed it was a package....won't make that assumption again....just like the front rubber mats don't come with the backs!

I have the alum pedals on mine and have had no worries. The rubber inserts actually feel quite nice and they are replaceable if they wear down.

Go ahead and get them. I have the brushed metal trim and it really looks nice with the pedals. :rocks:
