e46 wheel fitment on e92
I need some spare wheels to roll around on for a few weeks and came across these on craigslist for pretty cheap. What's the name of the style, and the offset? Will they fit my e92?
Thanks! |

The E46 use a higher offset in the rear and the wheels will look off. If you're going to put any E46 rear wheel on any E9X it's recommended that you put spacers on to achieve the proper look and clearance. You do also have to worry about caliper clearance on the front wheel if you have a 335i.

The wheels will definitely look extremely sunken in on an E9x if you plan on purchasing this setup.

I have a similar question. I have set of the style 45 with Dunlop winter tires on them from my 04 E46 Touring I traded in. I tried to fit them on my 06 325xi Touring. They fit on the fronts OK but would not turn. I assumed they were rubbing on the caliper. But everything I read on the forum says they should fit. The car does have the sport package but my understanding of the sport package on a Xi car is there are no changes to the suspension or brakes. Can you enlighten me?
