Question shaking under braking, slight steering travel - casues?

When I brake from say 200kph / 125mph down to say 100kph / 60mph, my steering wheel shakes and there is noticeable play in the steering when I drive at higher speeds (even on smooth roads). It's unsettling as it takes off my confidence when driving fast.

Any ideas what it can be caused by?

I have troubleshoot this but no long term fix so far:

- full 4 wheel alignment done
- tyre pressures correct
- wheels are balanced
- front rotors and pads are brand new, correct bed in procedure done.
- before rotor replacement the shake existed also for a few months

Any help guys? What can be causing the shaking if the rotors are new and pretty sure aren't warped.. I'm

Oh, and forgot to add, may be it's important:

Disclaimer:

I hit a sharp gradient change in asphalt pretty fast which bent the stabilizer rod on front right. Tyre bubbled, I've put a spare tyre with 1mm less thread (same model, same thread). By now the shoulder of the said tyre is worn out to bold - cant recall how quickly it wen but was already there when shaking in the wheel began. Pressures are all ok. I wonder if the steering play, shake, and braking are related to this...

Check for play in your ball joints and tie rods.

Yes there is a relation there. Worn shoulders will cause shimmy especially under braking. Did you replace the bent stabilizer bar?

it's been replaced, yup. I'm considering to switch over front tyres to rear and see if that will improve things... i run a square setup anyway.
