Gauging Interest....Wheel swap....
Anyone consider swapping their mint OEM 230's for my mint Alufelgen SF71's with No cost implication??
Fantastic looking as the Felgens are, I'm considering reverting to the totally stock look again. PM me if interested. Cheers Yves OK, decided to go the whole hog and sell everything. £1900 worth of wheel and tyre upgrade. Conti 5P's are only 750 miles old and totally unmarked. Whole package now off the car and safely stored in the garage. £1250 secures. Cheers Yves £2 Last edited by YvesD; 10-02-2010 at 12:58 PM.. Reason: Now selling the whole lot |

GET YOUR BIDS IN QUICK FOR THE SPANGLY RIMS. I will get the old weights off and give them a good buffing up so that they are ready for their new home. Start the bidding at £750 I think. Cheers Yves |

Heres one with them on the car.
Wheels are safely cocooned in the garage currently with tyres still mounted. Cheers |

Gauging Interest....Wheel swap.
Hi,
I was trying to find wheels for my car for a while... 4X100 kinda stink for aggressive fitments. Not a lot of lotus guys are interested in running super aggressive fitments, so that's not really an issue...Regardless, I wanted a more aggressive fitment, so I decided to change to a more common bolt pattern: 5x114.3 (4.5"). Initially I thought I could do this with off the shelf skf parts... this is not the case, it is also not the case that hubs from us cars will fit... I have a few friends in the "auto parts industry" that allowed me to test fitment on a variety of USDM hubs... no dice...It is known, however, that opel 5x110 hubs DO fit the lotus, abs/traction control compatible... but 5x110? EW, another lousy bolt pattern, but since I've got some talent and vast resources at my disposal, I decide to order them anyway...Getting the hubs is not cheap, it cost nearly 200 dollars just to ship them (i'm working on reducing this cost right now).
