Lightbulb Mod friendly dealers, any in CT?

Hey guys just wondering if you guys can point me to a dealer and SA that is mod friendly in CT. I would love to get a down pipe and FMIC, but I do not want them to void my warranty or give me a hard time.

Does such thing exist or am I just being naïve?

Thanks is advance.

I've heard good things about Bridgeport BMW, but they're a bit far away from me. Personally, I don't like taking the risk. I will say that Darien BMW was very attentive, courteous, and honest when I talked with them and took my car in August.

I gave Bernard a call, and it did not sound good. He wanted my vin number... I was like hell no... I do not want them to flag my car or anything. I basically asked if I got a downpipe and FMIC would it void my warranty. He said he would have to talk to the warranty specialist and to call back Monday. However it does not seem they would be ok with me getting these after market... unless I went with dinan
I guess I will wait for my warranty to run out, but I really wanted this now.

Anyone who believes their dealer is "mod friendly" is being completely naïve.

Just because your BMW dealer hasn't mentioned your tune or mods, doesn't mean they're "mod friendly" or haven't put a “red flag” in your car’s maintenance file already. If your car isn’t having major problems, the dealership may have simply decided not to say anything to you about your car's aftermarket tune or mods. Why would a BMW dealer go out of their way to deliberately antagonize a customer for no reason? However, if you ever try to make an expensive warranty claim with BMWNA in the future, you’re already busted.

I did find it odd he was asking for my vin, the first thing that pop in my mind was 'they want to flag it', i was not going to take that chance. I am hopping to hear about someone's real life experience about getting a warranty repair with mods on.

Why would you make a cold call like that? The SA was probably just tryin to cover his own ass since he doesnt know you. Common sense. Shady business is usually done in person

are you talking from your own experience? I just would like to hear from some user that had warranty work done on the car with mods.

Thanks
