brake pedal hard after 3days

Hi,
I want ro know if other cars do this also.
I have a 2006 330i and if I don't drive the car for about 3 days and get into the car and try to start , my brake feels like it's been pumpped.
it starts fine though.

The bleeder valve by your brake booster is leaking. There is a service bulletin out for this. Some ignore it, other's have it replaced. I beleive they have a revised valve.

It doesn't affect performance of the brakes or quality of it. All the valve does is keep vacuum so your brakes are soft when starting up.

I deal with it. From what I remember, it's only a $20 or so part and is an easy DIY. Don't do it at a dealer if you have it replaced professionally. I had a dealer in upstate NY quote me about $600 and change to replace it. They also tried to charge me a $500 fee to take a look at my car. Stealerships.....

Worst case you need your brake booster replaced...along with the valve.

Really doubt it. I beleive the valve never sees brake fluid....just air pressure. Could be wrong though.

Are you sure it's brake fluid? What color is it?

Since I do not drive mine daily when I get in the pedal is hard at first. After the car starts it is back to normal. Never thought twice about it.
