Broken side mirror glass
hey everyone, last night driving home my wife swerved to avoid hitting an oncoming car and in the process shattered her passenger side mirror on a construction cone. The outside casing is in tact, just the actual mirror shattered. I did a search but couldnt find the exact answer I was looking for.
Can the glass itself be ordered from Tischner? Is it that hard to install? From what I read it popped out from the bottom, is that correct? Any idea on prices I should be expecting to pay? Thanks for any help. |

Someone did mention that they do just pop out, I searched for blue tinted side mirrors I think when I found that article.
I dont have time now or I would find it for ya. Good luck though

Hi,
I changed the passenger's side mirror on my E92 last month. It just pops out when you pull. there is two wires connected to the mirror for the dimming i guess. When you get the new mirror you can easily install it yourself. Just make sure to apply pressure only on the center of the mirror to avoid damaging it. Here in Morocco i paid like 45$ for a miror from a totaled car. Good luck |
