Quick help/question! thanks

One of the side mirrors is bent all the way back towards the front of the car and i don't know what to do.

Can someone help me fix this??
Does anyone know the cause of it?

The only thing i did was USE my other spare BMW key for the first time but maybe that's irrelevant (?)

I tried folding both of the mirrors by pressing the button inside but the mirror goes back to its weird position after.
I would take it to the dealer but it seems dangerous to drive 15 miles without my left side mirror.

Thanks!

ugh, i tried with both keys but it still doesn't work
After a while, it stops moving altogether (even if i keep pressing the button) and i have to wait a bit before it allows me to start moving them again..
