E92 Amber reflector question... clear replacement?

I dont own the car, and I couldnt find any night pictures. But... is there a bulb behind the reflectors on the fenders? Also, has there been any production of clear ones? Thanks!

No it's just a reflector...no light behind it. I believe it's just glued/taped on. I saw a thread about a clear refelector but I can't find it now. It would be nice.

no there is no bulb, and no there are no clear ones...

but there are color matched ones!! these are much better and i have them on my car, it is like an euro bumper, there is no reflector anymore.

check out the sponsorship/classified section in the marketplace, there is a group buy on these. 85 bucks shipped to you any color you want, and the DIY is very easy. I did mine in about 10 min and the best mod ive done so far

I have seen pics of having that reflector tinted out.

I think that is what I am going to do, if/when I ever take delivery of my 335.

it is glued on. to get it out u use an exacto knife and a tool to pry it out, then you take the rest of the adhesive off with your fingers, take off the paper stuck to the new adhesive on the color matched reflector, and replace it.

go with a painted one, the color is matched perfectly, why tint, it looks bad.

If you tint it on a Jet Black, it looks identical. However if you have it on any other color it just looks silly

I'm waiting for a clear reflector as well. Someone has to make one eventually.

I was reluctant too, but Long Tran matched the color perfectly.

I ordered a pair on ebay, they seemed great and fit just fine. The seller I got mine from had the option of clear or smoked. I got smoked since my car is black, and it looks soooo much better than the orange
